Thanks for the recommendation of the cherry blossom girl. Her pics are amazing…so inpirational!! It has really inspired me for my fashion photography unit, in my course at university. I also love your blog by the way and well done for all of your achievments so far, you seem to be doing great

Hi Sara,

If you know that fashion journalism is definately want to do then doing a specialist degree is a great idea. However if you aren’t totally sure then you are pigeon-holing yourself unnecessarily and perhaps a general journalism or English degree may be better.

I’m not a careers advisor and I don’t really know a lot about the journalism course at LCF but those are my thoughts on the matter.

And I would ask around for you at uni, but I’m not there, I’m on placement at the moment.

My other piece of advice is to get yourself up to London to an open day where you can ask the tutors all the questions you can think of. And go visit some other universities too to compare.

Hey FS,
As a fellow fashionista just wanted ur advise….i am interested in fashion journalism, but i don’t know whether to go straight into an fashion journlism degree or not…whether its at LCF, im not sure yet. I know its asking alot, as you don’t even no me! But do you think you could possibly ask around at uni, if its not too much and i would reeaaallly appreciate it!!! Im in my last year at sixth form in Reading.
